About-Me-25-06-2024_edited.png

I’m a passionate marketing and content professional with a proven ability to drive engagement, spark fresh ideas, and support creative projects through strategic content development and campaign execution. With hands-on managing large social media platforms, I bring both technical skills and storytelling instincts to every project. I speak English, French and Lingala fluently and I've been actively learning Korean and Spanish for the past year and a half.

In my free time, I create and share content across multiple social platforms, reaching over 11 million impressions to date. I currently have a growing community of 450K followers on TikTok, 29K on Instagram, and a steadily expanding audience on YouTube. My content celebrates storytelling, popular culture, and digital expression through an African and multicultural lens. In 2022, I was honoured to be nominated for the DStv Content Creator Awards, recognising my work as a digital creator. I’m also currently writing my first novel, which explores South African girlhood through a vibrant, cross-cultural perspective. My passions include content strategy, editing, writing, music, and film/TV reviewing, and I’m excited to continue blending these creative interests with marketing in my professional journey.

Universal Pictures and TikTok: Wicked European Premiere

I was selected as one of the content creators to attend the European premiere of Wicked in London, where I had the opportunity to meet Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. As part of the experience, I participated in the "Creating Content That Will Defy Gravity" workshop at TikTok HQ, where

I gained valuable insights into producing fan-driven social media content. The workshop enhanced my skills in brand awareness, audience engagement, and fueling fan culture. I created and executed content

that contributed to building excitement and driving cinema attendance for the film.

Content Strategist

In 2021, I had the exciting opportunity to intern at Limitless Studios, a global animation and entertainment company founded in 2020 and headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, with a rapidly expanding international presence. From 2022 to 2023, I continued with the company as a Content Strategist, where I contributed to the overall digital marketing strategy for their flagship animation brand, OmoBerry. My responsibilities included devising engagement strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook; developing and managing weekly, quarterly, and annual content calendars; creating and editing videos and graphics; and coordinating multimedia campaigns that aligned with the studio’s creative and business goals.

I also played a key role in writing and developing new OmoBerry characters designed to appeal to a global audience. Additionally, I created short-form video content and promotional assets tailored for both Korean and international viewers, provided voice-overs for select characters, and offered strategic input on brand collaborations and community-building initiatives.

Throughout this period, I worked closely with the General Manager and Social Media Coordinator to ensure cohesive execution of content and engagement strategies. Operating remotely from Johannesburg, South Africa, I further developed my ability to manage tasks independently across time zones while maintaining strong communication and collaborative efficiency.

This experience sharpened my skills in strategic content planning, brand storytelling, community engagement, and remote team coordination, while deepening my understanding of global digital marketing in the entertainment space.

Comic Con Africa: TikTok account takeover

Comic Con Africa is a major annual pop culture and gaming festival held in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec). Since its inception in 2018, it has grown into Africa’s premier convention for comics, cosplay, gaming, movies, and anime. In September 2022, I was given the opportunity to contribute to the event's digital presence by managing and growing the official Comic Con Africa TikTok account over the four days of the convention. During this period, I successfully increased the account’s following by 7,500+ followers, significantly boosting visibility and fan engagement.

As the sole content creator for the account, I developed and executed a real-time content strategy to highlight key events, activations, and behind-the-scenes moments. My responsibilities included filming and editing content on-site, engaging directly with attendees, responding to comments, and fostering online community interaction throughout the event. This hands-on experience immersed me in the dynamic world of pop culture and live events. It also strengthened my skills in event-based marketing, short-form content creation, and community engagement, while offering valuable insight into audience behavior across diverse cultures and fandoms.

Francophone Events

In Paris, I had the opportunity to attend and create promotional content for two major pop culture events.

The first was "A Storm of Crows & Shadows," where I met the cast of the popular Netflix series Shadow and Bone and produced social media content tailored to its global fanbase. The second was an African film screening in collaboration with Cinewax, a non-profit organisation founded in 2015 by Franco-Senegalese entrepreneur Jean Fall, dedicated to promoting African and Caribbean cinema and its diasporas.

Through both experiences, I leveraged my multilingualism to craft engaging content for both anglophone and francophone audiences, building cross-cultural connections and expanding the reach of each event across diverse communities.

Youth Advocacy & Personal Mission

I have a deep, lifelong passion for helping young people realise their full potential. This calling began when I was a teenager, volunteering with children through organisations like Operation Smile in Kinshasa and the Imani Projects in Thembisa. It was during those formative years that I witnessed the transformative power of kindness, presence, and belief in a child’s future.

As I grew older, I felt compelled to open up about my own journey—sharing my experiences of grief, a difficult childhood, and the often painful search for belonging. It wasn't easy, but in choosing to be vulnerable, I found healing—and connection. The more I spoke my truth, the more young people began to reach out to me, seeking guidance, understanding, or simply someone who could say, "I see you. You're not alone."

That’s when I realised that my voice had value—not because it was perfect, but because it was honest. Today, I strive to speak from the heart and offer whatever wisdom I can, rooted in lived experience and sincere care. If I can inspire just one young person to believe in themselves a little more, then I know I’m walking in my purpose.
