Digital Culture & Platform Leadership (TikTok)

2026

Selected as one of 50 creators to attend Web Summit Doha, representing the next generation of digital storytellers shaping global culture, technology, and media.

 

2025

Served as Red Carpet Co-Host for the TikTok Awards Sub-Saharan Africa, contributing to the live cultural narrative around Africa’s most influential digital creators and entertainment figures.

 

2024

Panelist at TikTok Level Up Africa, speaking on creative growth, digital storytelling, and the evolving role of African creators in shaping global online culture. The event was livestreamed across the continent.

 

2023

A TikTok reaction video I created for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer was featured on Good Morning America during Marvel Studios’ official trailer reveal—highlighting the cultural impact of fan-driven storytelling.

Fame Week Panel

In 2025, I was a Speaker at MIP Africa (FAME Week), where I participated in a panel examining the power of TikTok fandom in contemporary storytelling and its growing influence on the global entertainment industry. The discussion explored how fan-driven narratives shape audience engagement, impact marketing strategies, and increasingly inform development, distribution, and greenlighting decisions across film, television, and digital media.

The French Consulate in South Africa

Since 2023, I have collaborated with the French Consulate in Johannesburg on initiatives supporting the visibility of France’s cultural and educational presence in Southern Africa.

​

My work centres on curating and amplifying access to cultural events, festivals, institutional programmes, and educational opportunities, including funding, grants, and academic pathways for African audiences.

​

Most recently, this has included contributing to digital cultural outreach campaigns promoting French museums in collaboration with the French Commission South Africa.

Expresso Morning Show

In 2023 and 2025 I was a guest Interviewee, Expresso Morning Show — featured in on-air segments spotlighting my work as an actress, writer, and cultural storyteller, as well as discussions on romantic cinema and audience engagement.

 

Appearances also included a Clover Crush spotlight examining fan culture and audience response to Netflix’s Wednesday.

Universal Pictures and TikTok: Wicked European Premiere

Selected to participate in the European premiere of Wicked in London as part of a curated creative cohort, contributing to the film’s cultural rollout and audience engagement strategy.
​

As part of the programme, I took part in Creating Content That Will Defy Gravity at TikTok HQ, a professional workshop focused on narrative-led promotion, audience activation, and contemporary fan culture.

​

I developed and executed original digital content that supported brand awareness, strengthened audience connection, and contributed to building anticipation and cinema attendance for the film.

Korean Cultural Center: South Africa

In South Africa, I have collaborated with the Korean Cultural Center on the promotion and visibility of Korean cultural programming, contributing to cross-cultural exchange between Korea and local audiences.

​

My involvement began with the Feel Korea Festival and has since expanded to include coverage and amplification of multiple cultural initiatives and events.

​

Through this ongoing collaboration, I engage with both traditional and contemporary Korean culture while supporting the Center’s mission to build cultural understanding and meaningful audience connection.

Filmfinity: Campaign Strategy & Audience Engagement

In Johannesburg, I partnered with Filmfinity, a leading South African film distributor, to craft campaigns that brought both local and international stories to life.

 

By researching releases and designing strategies to engage audiences across cinemas nationwide, I helped transform film promotions into immersive experiences that connected viewers with the narratives and cultures behind each title.

Maybelline x In the City Joburg

In 2024, I collaborated with Maybelline South Africa for In the City Joburg, contributing to the intersection of beauty and live music culture.

 

I created content and experiences that highlighted Maybelline’s diverse product range in a vibrant, youthful environment, helping to engage audiences and elevate the brand’s presence within South Africa’s music and cultural scene.

Limitless Studios: Creative & Strategic Contribution

From 2021 to 2023, I contributed to Limitless Studios, a global animation company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, as a content strategist for their flagship brand, OmoBerry.

I helped shape digital engagement strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, producing multimedia content and campaigns designed to grow international audiences.

​

I also contributed to character development, creating new OmoBerry personas with global appeal, and produced promotional content tailored for both African and international viewers.

Collaborating closely with the General Manager and Social Media Coordinator, I strengthened community-building initiatives and brand collaborations, while managing projects across time zones.

​

This experience sharpened my skills in global digital storytelling, audience engagement, and brand development, while reinforcing my ability to craft content that resonates across cultures and platforms.

Cinewax: Bridging Cultures Through African Cinema

In Paris (2023 & 2025), I collaborated with Cinewax, a non-profit dedicated to promoting African and Caribbean cinema, to create content that amplified the impact of their film screenings.

 

Leveraging my multilingual skills, I engaged both Anglophone and Francophone audiences, building cross-cultural connections and expanding the reach of each event across diverse communities.

In 2023, I had the privilege of serving as a panelist for the TikTok Level Up Africa event in Johannesburg. I spoke about the contributions of African creators on the platform and how social media can shape culture, storytelling, and creative careers.

 

The panel was live-streamed across the continent, giving young audiences from all over Africa the chance to engage with these ideas and see the opportunities in digital creativity.

Universal+ South Africa: Live Red-Carpet Host

In October 2022, I hosted the live red carpet coverage for the launch of Universal+ in South Africa, broadcast live on TikTok.

​

I led on-camera interviews with prominent South African media and entertainment figures, including Sho Madjozi, Lasizwe, Shekhinah, and other cultural tastemakers.

​

Through this role, I helped translate a major global entertainment launch for African audiences, offering behind-the-scenes access and contextual storytelling that connected international content to local cultural conversations. The collaboration allowed me to be at the intersection of live entertainment, digital broadcasting, and audience engagement within the African media landscape.

Youth Advocacy & Personal Mission

I have a deep, lifelong passion for helping young people realise their full potential. This calling began when I was a teenager, volunteering with children through organisations like Operation Smile in Kinshasa and the Imani Projects in Thembisa. It was during those formative years that I witnessed the transformative power of kindness, presence, and belief in a child’s future.

As I grew older, I felt compelled to open up about my own journey—sharing my experiences of grief, a difficult childhood, and the often painful search for belonging. It wasn't easy, but in choosing to be vulnerable, I found healing—and connection. The more I spoke my truth, the more young people began to reach out to me, seeking guidance, understanding, or simply someone who could say, "I see you. You're not alone."

That’s when I realised that my voice had value—not because it was perfect, but because it was honest. Today, I strive to speak from the heart and offer whatever wisdom I can, rooted in lived experience and sincere care. If I can inspire just one young person to believe in themselves a little more, then I know I’m walking in my purpose.
