I performed this monologue at a showcase and I had worked on it for months, on my own and with a brilliant drama coach but I still can’t help but feel that my performance wasn’t as great as it could’ve been. I was beating myself up about and it took me a while to accept that not every performance will live up to what we expect it to an that’s okay. “All we can do is all we can do, and all we can do is enough. As long as we make sure we do all we can do.” Never a failure, always a lesson 😊 Never give up on your dreams ✨

I fell in love with this monologue the first time I read it. It's so beautiful how this character turns hopelessness into hopefulness. How she finds the strength to pick herself up.
